We finally had a chance to visit Mercato at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) when we stayed at the Global City Hotel (Luxe Residences) this weekend. The place is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

It's easy to navigate the streets in the BGC because the streets and avenues are perpendicular to each other and are numberd sequentially, i.e., 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Walking also gave us a chance to explore the place.

the sign was referring to the Jags on display and not my daughter |
The sky was overcast so walking was not a problem as the weather was cool. Mercato Centrale, which is open from 7 AM till 2 PM, is just beside the MC Home Depot.

welcome to mercato |
Food was aplenty that we had a hard time choosing which to buy for our lunch.

There was a also sketching session conducted weekly.
The CCA (Center for Culinary Arts) students were very active in Mercato, conducting cooking lessons as well as having their food booths and promoting their creations.
After checking out the place for more than an hour, we were finally able to pick up what to have for lunch to add to our leftover chiicken and pizza at the hotel: chicken rice (P200), half a california maki (P75), a chocolate caramel cup cake (P30), and a slice each of strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake (P100).
