Dinner in Baguio - Vizco's Restaurant

While walking along Session Road in Baguio City during Panagbenga 2011, my wife, daughter and I found this restaurant just beside Don Henrico's. As we had already tried Don Henrico's a couple of times, we decided to try out Vizco's Restaurant.

We thought it odd that place was empty when we came in. Later did we found out that most of the clients prefer to dine on the 2nd floor.

Famished from a whole day of walking and climbing, we immediately ordered. Firstly, we asked for french fries (P75). It was real potatoes with the skin on unlike the fries we get from fastfood burger joints. A sour cream dip came with the fries.
We also ordered chicken strips (P140). Served with gravy, it was yummy and we started eating it together with the fries while waiting for our pizza and pasta.
For pasta, we had Italian Sausage Pomodoro (P148). It is spagetti with Italian sausage in pomodoro sauce and topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese. We shared it among the three of us.
Lastly, we had the 9" Protein Supreme pizza (P240). Toppings include pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, bacon and mushrooms. It was not as thin as Shakey's but it was crispy and eally good.
All of these, we downed with cans of Coke and mango juice for my daughter.

For dessert, we had a slice of strawberry shortcake (P75). It was not sweet and just right for our taste. We liked the cake so much that we remembered to take a shot of it only when we were half through.
We had over-ordered that only half of the pizza and the chicken strips were consumed. We had to take it out for our breakfast the following morning, which was a good idea as we had to go to Session road very early the following day to watch the street dance parade.

Apparently my wife and daughter haven't had enough of the cake that we went there again after the flower festival parade to have another slice.

We would like to try the rest of the food offered by Vizco's the next time we go to Baguio. The food is good and the price is just right.
