Sunday Lunch at Sbarro

When my wife reports for work every other Saturday, we usually do our grocery on Sundays at SM Bicutan since its the one nearest our place. Once in a while we go to the SM Mall of Asia. And that's what we did today.
Before doing our grocery, we decided to have our lunch first and asking our daughter what she wants to eat, she immediately replied: Sbarro. We've eaten there a couple of time and its the usual fare that we order.

My daughter as usual ordered her favorite, a White  New York Style Pizza. Its a pizza made of hand stretched dough with garlic, and ricotta and mozarella cheeses.

Half-way through her pizza, Angel told us that she might not be able to finish it. We just nodded and as she continued to eat, it appeared that there will be no left-overs for her. Gone were the days when we have to finish what was served on her plate, ha ha ha.

My wife and I shared a half-serving of baked ziti and a Chicago Dip Dish (CDD), a pizza made of  two layers of dough with mozzarella, meatballs, ham, pork sausage, pepperoni, romano cheese.

The baked ziti came with a garlic roll. As usual, we ordered it sans sauce or meatballs and it tasted good even without those add-ons.

The CDD was enough fo my wife and me, considering that we were also sharing the ziti. The CDD is overstuffed with all those meats and cheeses I mentioned above. It's good to eat here again since its been a long time when we last ate at Sbarro.

And how much did our lunch cost? Together with two glasses of lemonade and an iced tea for my daughter, the bill was almost P500.
