DOT campaign slogan, Filipinos are divided as whether to support it or find fault again (remember "Pilipinas Kay Ganda"?). But with Pinoy creativity and sense of humor, a lot of memes can now be found on the internet using the said slogan.

Have you crossed San Juanico from Leyte to Samar or vice versa? Is there a good place to see and stay in Samar? We want to explore those two islands by car from here.

It was our last day in Leyte when we decided to see the San Juanico Bridge. From Tacloban, we took a jeep going to Samar and upon reaching Sta. Rita, Samar on the other side of the bridge, we crossed the bridge again but this time by foot. Stopping along the bridge is not allowed so we walked the entire span which took us less than 30 minutes.
The town of Guiuan (pronounced Giwan) was supposed to be the place to visit if we did not push through with our plan to see Digyo Island in Inopacan. Leyte
I like all your versions of more fun in the Philippines. But my favorite is "Kamay ni Jesus Lucban Quezon". Looking at it while reading the slogan beneath would remind me of having faith doesn't need for us to be always penitent. And look, we could climb up those stairs while having fun!
